Mummy got me a new box. She gets me some every 3 weeks, which is pretty generous huh? I have to wait for her to empty them first, but then they become mine. They always smell nice too. Today mummy has put my box by the back door where the sun is shinning through. It's pretty chilly out there today, so I think I shall be staying right here prrrrrrrrr

Luckily nobody turned the tap on me yesterday and I enjoyed a lovely long snooze in the sink. Simba and I thought we might hang out in the kitchen this morning and offer our cooking services and.... in case there is any extra food around that needs clearing up :)

I got to play outside yesterday evening for quite a while. I came and meowed at the window at the front of the house and then mummy opened the front door. Guess what? I then hid under the car. I did this about a bazillion times, which was a great game. I am sure mummy really enjoyed it. Eventually she tricked me in with my supper bowl full of stinky nom.
I think I will spend the day just snoozing and planning this evenings entertainment :)

Phew, it's been the hottest weather this year so far. It was even hotter here than Tenerife! Simba and I have mostly spent the weekend snoozing under the table and chairs in the garden where it is nice and cool.
pee ess, mummy says ignore the weeds, it was far too hot for any physical work mol

Peek a boo prrrrrrrrrrrr. I'm feeling much better this week. All my itches have stopped. It took mummy three attempts to get me to swallow my antibiotic tablet this morning hee he. Mummy said I must be better beclaws before I was just swallowing them and not protesting at all. I've even put some weight back on which has pleased everyone. I'm definitely enjoying all these lovely nommy treats.

Before Fleabag, I mean Simba, went to the v.e.t.s on Sunday I helped get him ready. First I made sure his collar was nice and straight and not too loose or too tight.
Then I gave him a thorough bath from head to tail.
Mummy said something about a flea in his ear, but I checked and they were both spick and span and squeaky clean. His medication is working really well and all that horrible itching caused by the allergic reaction has calmed down big time. He is being a really good boy taking his tablets too, he doesn't make any fuss at all. Not sure I would be so good, I think I would spit the tablet out again hee he.

I have to admit something embarressing. I got fleas!!! Not only that, but I had an allergic reaction to the bites! I had to go to the v.e.t.s on Sunday where I got not one, but two injections!! Mummy said I was a very good boy and didn't even flinch. One was an antibiotic shot and one was an anti-inflamatory. I have a weeks course of antibiotic tablets as well, two a day which starts this morning. Mummy says I need a lot of pampering and some extra treats cause I have lost a little bit of weight. I rather like the idea of extra treats prrrrrrrrr. The whole house has been flea bombed and Jasmine has been treated as well, but she seems absolutely fine. I have to go back in a week or so to be weighed again, so pawsies crossed I get lots and lots of yummy treats.
Yesterday we all watched the closing ceremony at the Olympic Park. Jasmine and I had to put up with Mummy and Daddy singing along to the songs.
Look how all the athletes made a huge Union Jack! Under that is the Olympic flame being lowered.
We enjoyed watching all the whizz bangs, aren't they pretty colours :)
Mummy enjoyed singing along to The Who
What a great atmosphere is was. Mummy and Daddy would have loved to have been there, but me and Jasmine were happy to watch on the telly.
Look at all the pretty colours
Mummy just couldn't help mentioning that she ran round that stadium first way back at the end of March lol

Hello, you caught me having a little wash in the great outdoors. Simba and I haven't been able to spend a lot of time out here this summer beclaws it has been far too rainy. However, summer is back again for a visit, the sun has come out and dried up all the wetness. I thought you might like to have a wander round the garden and see all the flowers that have grown.
We have some pink ones with yellow middles. The bee's like these flowers.
We have pink ones with purple middles, mummy just loves these colours together.
We have some different pink ones with yellow middles (can you guess mummy's favourite)
Here's some yellow ones. Do you think it looks like a firework exploding?
These orange and red ones look nice against a blue sky - when we get one! Look, you can still see raindrops all over them and look how their leaves are weighted down with all that water!
These are the runner beans, there are doing the bestest out of all the vegetables as they like lots of water. I have been sitting here watching them for quite a while and do you know what? Not one of them has run anywhere yet. But, if they do, I am ready to catch them :)
