We are having a party tomorrow and everyone is invited. It's Simba's birthday and he is going to be 8 tomorrow. There is going to be lots of lovely nom noms and plenty of silly party games. I hope the weather is going to be nice so we can all play chasing in the garden :)
We had a visitor last night. Mummy came home from the gym and found this kitty meowing on the doorstep. He was very friendly and mummy gave his some tickles. When she opened the door he ran inside!! My hooman sister picked him up and gave him a cuddle. She said he was a little bag of bones ahhhh. Mummy wouldn't normally feed kitties she doesn't know, but he was obviously very very hungry. Mummy gave him some of our special treats which he seemed very grateful for. We didn't mind because we got some too :) He then had a little snooze on the doormat outside. Mummy is going to keep an eye out for him incase he is a stray.

And Wow ! mommy never seen any cats on my street are friendly to human like me, And This guy is incredible friendly ( More than me ) and you two are incredible nice, no hiss to intruder...Amazing !!!

Party sounds like a great idea! Mom thinks I am 8 already, but your Simba and I are pretty similar in ages. I would have turned 8 in about January.
I hope that other kitty finds its real home, since it sounds pretty tame. But maybe your house is destined to become its new real home?

That kitty seems like he might be homeless....Maybe there's a no-kill shelter in your area he can be taken to?

And that was so nice of your mom to give the kitty some treats - we hope he will be ok. He sounds like quite a sweetheart - almost like maybe he used to have a home but doesn't anymore for some reason (ok, that made mom sad - sorry to bring everyone down right before the party tomorrow).

8 is a great age.
It sure sounds like that poor kitty might need a home. He was awfully hungry and bony. Bless yur hearts for feeding him and watching out for the little guy.
