Lovely weather for the quacky ducks

Ever since they announced that we were in drought, its has done nothing but rain!  Mummy said "oh well, it's lovely weather for the ducks".  I've been here for hours and I haven't seen one quacky duck go by!
Simba is continuing to recover slowly, but still doesn't want to play yet.

Keep watching then, and maybe one will waddle by.

Ducks, huh? Hmm, they sound interesting, possibly tasty. Maybe you'll see one yet!

Continued purrs to Simba for his recovery!

When mama was in college (a very long time ago) and it rained a lot, she and all her friends would walk single file down the sidewalk with their umbrellas and quack. We missed that, didn't we. Silly beans!

We have rain and no ducks as well - if this is a drought we'd hate to see heavy rain!!

No ducks, eh? Maybe they're coming soon. It reminds me of when my mom says it's raining cats and dogs. I look out - and do I see kit-cats or dogs out there? No. It's strange!

We haven't had the rain but I do have ducks and geese on my pond. Stay inside and stay dry!

Well, we hope the rain stops and you find some ducks. Did you see that story about the Mama duck and her babies trying to cross the big freeway in California?

Glad Simba is improving.
Maybe when the sunbeams come back he will be back to his happy self.

Well, we bet the ducks are happy! We hope you get a break from the rain soon.

We continue to purr for Simba.
