Feeling hot, hot, hot

Phew, its very hot today.  I did try to chat to the funny little flowerpot man laying on that wooden lounger just behind me but I think he must be asleep.  Its nice and cool under the garden furniture.  Look who else is chilling out here.

No flies on me

I'm ready to pounce.  The big scarey  jungle cat about to catch it's huge pray.  I'm waiting for the right moment and then woooooooooooooooooooooosh, I shall leap through the air and catch that fly.................ok, maybe not, but next time I will get you :)

Simba on a Saturday

According to those little weather people that live in my telly, it's going to be very hot on Sunday and even hotter on Monday.  That means mummy will be putting smelly suncream on my ears and nosey.  It's alright for Jasmine to smell of watermellon or coconut, but i'm not so sure it's a boy cat smell.  Mummy told me that she knew a kitty that had to have his ears trimmed down because the sun had made nasties on them.  Guess smelling a bit girly for a while is probably worth it then.  After Monday they are predicting more thunderstorms, so I will have to have words with little Jasburger and tell he not to go out and get soaking again!

Anyway, part of my security job here means I use the pooter to log my sightings and the daily goings on around here and I sometimes have a little play on the tinternet on my break.  I was checking my he-mail and I had been sent this little attachment of a couple of woofies that I just had to share with you all, its very funny and cute prrrrrrr

Simba and me are keeping look out on the windowsill.  We were doing a good job until mummy comes in making all that noise and scaring all the birdies away.  Honestly, hoomans have no idea about the skill that is needed!

I have lots of jobs to do, like keep an eye on the rsssssssssssssssspberries.  Some naughty birdies like to nibble them!

Check on the flowers to make sure the buzzy's are doing their job too!

Not to mention keeping an eye on the onions, tomatoes, peas, chillies, lettuce and runner beans!  I'm exhausted!

My Monday

Why do the hoomans always moan about Monday's?  It's a fun day woo hooooooooooooooo

Thunder and lightening, very very frightening

I got caught out in the rain yesterday.  One minute it was nice and dry, the next minute there was a flash of lightening and a huge crash bang and then down came the rain.  It was worse than the hoomans shower!!  Look how wet I got.  I'm a soggy moggy!  Mummy helped dry me with a fluffy towel which I enjoyed.

Just look at my soaking pawsie!  Today its lovely and sunny, thank goodness.



Simba on a Saturday

When you find a nice warm, snuggly, snoozy place, remember to keep one eye open for little brofurs or sisfurs.  You never know when they are going to think its funny to leap on your from a great height!

"Do I think I'm HOT?" Well, mummy says I always seem to be hot when she picks me up.  She says I am a little hot water bottle for her lap :)  I'm only one, so I don't know about any other sort of hot - yet hee he.

What am I thinking while I am doing this? I am thinking "if mummy doesn't finish that yummy breakfast, i'm going to have it" :)



Do I have nicknames? Jazzy jas burger!!!! Princess pretty paws. Sometimes mummy calls me "no" but I don't think that is much of a name!

The hungry kitty is still coming to see us most evenings.  He jumps on the windowsill and we have a little chat.   Mummy then gives him some kitty biscuits which he really enjoys.  Then he has a little snooze on our new doormat :)

pee ess  Mummy is very behind with helping me with certain bloggy things.  She says she hasn't forgotton about the cake receipe and also she has to help me with some questions from Cat Chat.  She says when she goes to sleepybyes her data gets wiped clean and it takes a few hours to get it re-started again!

Big day tomorrow

It's my first birthday tomorrow so i'm conserving my energy.  I'm having a big party tomorrow and you are all invited.  In the meantime I am going to try and snooze.  It's very hard cause I am soooooooooooo excited :)

Simba is also conserving his energy.  Mind you, that's pretty normal for Simmykins hee he.
pee ess  I will get my hooman big sisters oreo cake receipe and put it on here later in the week :)  I've also got to answer some questions too.  It's going to be a busy week!



Mummy always has yoghurt on her cereal and sometimes I get to help wash the bowl up prrrrrrrrrrr.

Look what my big hooman sister made on Saturday (Mummy helped too, she did all the mixing by hand bit).  Scones with fresh strawberries and clotted cream slurp.



AND and oreo cookie cake yuuuuummmmmmy.  Today she is making more scones and some very tasty looking cake pops.  Mummy loves to lick the bowl just like I like to lick her breatfast bowl hee he.
